Robert ClinchUrban Myths: Recent Lithographs17 February - 18 March Regional Victoria Touring Exhibition Artist talk 11.00 Wednesday 28 February Recent lithographs of evocative cityscapes. Clinch's striking imagery transports the viewer to a fictional but hauntingly real world filled with tales of loneliness, joy, injustice, humour, melancholy and whimsy. Clinch paints entirely from drawings, executed plein-air, often at numerous locations and then adapted for composition in the studio. The same fastidious approach has produced these beautifully hand-drawn limited-edition lithographs. ![]() Robert Clinch Half Court 2005 |

Gretchen HillhouseSpring Collection: Heloise & Hildegarde18 February - 7 March Heloise & Hildegarde evokes a meeting of 20s flappers and 40s swing in an edgy exploration of contemporary femininity. The collection features silhouette sculpting silk with contour fringing in hues of duckegg blue, vintage copper, mushroom, rose, gold and black, melding with organza and calico in a twist of couture. The artist describes the work in these terms: 'gentle and unassuming, elegant and simple, quiet magnificence, luminous grace'. Preview the collection before its showing at Sydney Fashion Week in March 2007. The artist is one of ten emerging designers selected to present their work in 'Fashion Exposed'. The collection was developed with the support of a New Work Grant from Regional Arts Victoria. ![]() |
